Ανακοινώθηκαν οι υποψηφιότητες των The Game Awards 2018

Τα The Game Awards, το ετήσιο event του Geoff Keighley επιστρέφουν και αυτό το Δεκέμβριο, με την υπόσχεση για περισσότερες αποκλειστικότητες σε σχέση με άλλη χρονιά. Η τελετή θα πραγατοποιηθεί στο Microsoft Theater του Los Angeles, στις 7 Δεκεμβρίου και ώρα 03:30πμ και μόλις ανακοινώθηκαν οι φετινές υποψηφιότητες. Όποιος επιθυμεί να ψηφίσει, μπορεί να το κάνει μέσω του DMing The Game Awards στο Twitter, της σχετικής ιστοσελίδας, στέλνοντας μήνυμα στο Facebook Messenger, μέσω του Discord Server τους, ακόμα και μέσω των Amazon Echo και Google Home.   Βλέπουμε κατηγορίες για Best Game Direction, Best Narrative, Best Performance και ούτε μια κατηγορία για gameplay. Προσωπικά δεν μου λένε τίποτα αυτά τα awards αλλά είναι ενδεικτικό για το πόσο διαφορετικά αντιλαμβανόμαστε τα βιντεοπαιχνίδια μερικοί, κι ας λεγόμαστε gamers όλοι. Ίσως είναι καιρός να δημιουργηθεί ένα καινούργιος όρος για προϊόντα που βρίσκονται κάπου μεταξύ ταινίας και παιχνιδιου, για να μπορούμε να συνεννοουμαστε και καλύτερα και να μην υπάρχουν αντιδικίες. Ουσιαστικά αυτή η κατηγορία υπάρχει ήδη, και είναι μεγαλύτερη από την κατηγορία των παιχνιδιών, απλά δεν έχει όνομα.
